The girls swim and dive team celebrates after defeating rival Seaholm.

The Adams Girls Swim & Dive Team shows a promising future for the rest of their season with a win against rivalry team, Seaholm High School.
Going into the meet, tension filled the air.
“We were all in the locker room having a pep talk about what we needed to do to beat Seaholm. We were nervous, but we were also pumped and ready to beat them,” said senior captain Alexa Graph.
It was their killer attitudes and undeniable desire to win that helped them persevere and claim their victory. Although defeating Seaholm was a big accomplishment, it is only one of many more meets to come.
“Our team has so much potential to have the best season since 2004. We proved we were the team to beat in our meet against Seaholm, but we have so many more goals. I cannot wait to see what else we can prove,” said senior swimmer Krystal Karas.
With the meet against Clarkston approaching quickly, they continue to train hard and look forward to the rest of their season. They will definitely be one of the top “teams to beat” in the OAA red division.
