Scrambling for answers throughout Thursday’s match, North Farmington could not put a stop to these two ladies who were out for blood.

Seniors Madison Tuscany and Brianna Stacy prevailed at the net all night long, leading the Highlanders’ high offensive attack in a clean sweep of the Raiders.

Stacy and Tuscany ended the game just as dominantly as it began with over 20 kills combined and multiple blocks each at the net. After a quick 5-0 start in the first game by North Farmington, coach Bridgette Harding knew that her two stars up front needed to start the comeback. In a commanding fashion, Tuscany and Stacy powered the Highlanders to a 25-9 first game victory.

“It’s games like these where you feel you need to prove yourself the most. Losing to them earlier in the season made me even hungrier for victory,” Stacy, the Highlanders’ front line star, said. “That kind of intensity is always fun, so it makes for a good game for our whole team.”
