Jordan Wiley leads the student section in chant at last week’s football game!

Meet Jordan Wiley, Detroit Tigers fan, Student Council representative, and the 2014-15 Senior Class President! Along with being one of the most loved seniors at Adams, he is the captain of the varsity basketball and baseball teams, a member of the National Honors Society, National Spanish Honors Society, and student section leader.

Q: Jordan, what are your duties as class president?

JW: As class president I oversee the student body; specifically the senior class. I’m in charge of promoting school spirit.

Q: Do you have any exciting upcoming events planned?

JW: Well, Homecoming is coming up soon and I’m helping plan the pep assembly. I’m also in charge of Prom; I check in with Señor Ciluffo on that. Also, the boys dance team is starting practice. Everyone should get involved with that!

Q: As one of the leaders of the student section you often give halftime speeches. How do you find inspiration to pump up the student body?

JW: My inspiration is the team! When the team is playing well it’s easy to make a speech, and when they’re playing badly I know I need to remind the student section that we inspire our team too.

Q: What’s been the best part of senior year?

JW: Definitely football games and watching how pumped everyone is this year.

Q: That’s definitely been really cool, have any quotes for the student body before we end this?

JW: Oh, wow, this is hard. Wait, actually, I don’t know who this is by but “TEAM: Together Everyone Achieves More.”
