The Adams Theater Department continued its recent tradition of fright and fear by putting on its very own haunted house. Members of the International Thespian Society at Adams transformed the auditorium into an incredible and haunting experience. The haunted house was held on Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28 from 5:30-8:30pm for the Adams community, but this year, the experience was opened to the Adams staff and students during the school day.
The haunted house is an event that the theater department first held in 2022, and because of the in-school opportunity, the event was brought to a whole new level. Students were thrilled to take time out of their lunches to attend the haunted house.
On Tuesday, The Kilt sent two of its staff members, Ava Hirvela and Emma Wittkopp, through the haunted house. It’s safe to say it greatly exceeded their expectations.
“I was genuinely scared. I was not expecting to be truly scared. The actors did a great job — they have such great raw talent,” said Hirvela and Wittkopp.
If you were unable to see the haunted house yourself, check out Hirvela and Wittkopp’s live reactions as they went through the frightening experience.
